Czech cuisine is diverse and offers various specialities, but most of all delicious food. And as such it is presented by the CzechSpecials, a joint project of the CzechTourism Agency, the Czech Association of Hotels and Restaurants and the Czech Association of Cooks and Confectioners.
The aim is to support those restaurants that incorporate Czech traditions and at the same time offer old national recipes in a modern style. So far the database contains about 100 of them, from various areas throughout the whole of the Czech Republic. In restaurants bearing the CzechSpecials sign guests can look forward to not only a high level of service but also a menu with some traditional Czech dishes of above-standard quality. You will be able to savour the very best beef in cream sauce, dumplings filled with smoked meat or sweet delicacies such as apple pie.
