This festival, which promotes apricots and their products, traditionally takes place on the third Saturday in July. There will be contests for the title Dumpling King, the task of which is to eat the most apricot dumplings within 20 minutes, for Apricot of the Year, the most original recipes for apricot dishes, the most beautiful apricots and other records. The festivities include a fair, demonstrations of crafts, concerts, a parade through town in period costumes, and children can enjoy many attractions and contests.
