700 Years of Charles IV – Reverence, Art and Scholarship
Charles IV’s jubilee will also be commemorated by the Benedictine Emmaus Abbey, founded by the emperor in 1347. The exhibition Reverence, Art and Scholarship will present the monastery from three perspectives - as an important spiritual centre of the New Town of Prague, as an exceptional architectural monument and as a 14th century centre of written heritage.
The exhibition will be accompanied by concerts at the monastery church, guided visits and other events.
