The Bohemian Carnevale festival, which is held in Prague every year during the Carnival season at the end of February and beginning of March, is a colorful showcase of wonderful ideas, refined taste and dazzling creativity. It recalls the historical and allegorical spectacle of the festivities, which were held in the Czech lands during the Middle Ages. This event takes place in public places, palaces, museums, galleries and theaters, as well as in restaurants and shops. Would you prefer a dazzling carnival ball, child’s whirl in masks and Baroque opera, or music and dance scenes of the Prague Carnival in the 17th and 18 centuries?
