Reenactment of the Battle of White Mountain Prague
Although the Battle of White Mountain, which took place on November 8th, 1620, lasted only two hours, it had far-reaching consequences for the Czech lands. It was the beginning of the Thirty Years War and influenced the fate of Central Europe for the next 300 years. This reenactment, which is taking place for the tenth time on the White Mountain Plains near the wall of the Hvězda game park in Prague, will certainly not have such fatal consequences. The dazzling spectacle of reenacting the finale of the battle will involve several hundred participants, accompanied by fiery effects. You can also look forward to music from that era, market stalls, demonstrations by fencing groups, and a talk about the development of firearms.
