North of Brno is Kunštát, a city with a pottery and ceramic tradition. There are still pottery workshops there and every year in September, the famous Pottery Fair is held. During the fair, King Jiří Square turns into an open auditorium and stage, where the makers of ceramics, art workshops and studios present their wares of various shapes and colors. The atmosphere of the fair also includes a cultural program.
