The Wallachian open-air museum will present old crafts of shaping and processing wood or other construction and manufacturing materials, making of chopped-wood fences, wooden ladders, spoke wheels, handles for various tools, wooden barrels, windows or doors, restoration of historical furniture, covering the roof with hand-chopped shingles and their making, manufacturing of bricks and tiles, stone carving, window glazing, wiring, work of the basket-maker, potter, tinsmith, turner or brushmaker, pitcher braiding, working on the weaver’s loom, straw basket making and many others. The visitors will be able to try out the crafts with their own hands. The stalls will be demonstrating the making of small items such as various types of trinkets, beeswax products, chopped-wood doves, bread-shaped pottery ware, glass painting and decorated extruded gingerbreads.
