Each race of the Czech Hero Ride cycle contains a story of a particular vintage car connected to a person or race in that region. One such story is the memorial to F.A. Elstner (1902-1974), a Czech automotive traveler, scout, adventurer, journalist and writer. This race is designed for vehicles manufactured before 1948 and the approximately 70 km long route runs through the southern part of the Pilsen region. The memorial always includes an exhibition of vintage cars and motorcycles in some of the towns along the route.
