Since 1982, Helfstýn Castle has been the venue of a traditional August gathering of international artistic blacksmiths from all over the world called Hefaiston. Now in its 33rd year, you can see and admire their products divided into different categories – classic and artistic metalwork, jewelry, weapons and foundry work. Observing the work of these artisan blacksmiths is certainly the main attraction, but artifacts from purely practical products to completely abstract shapes are also worth seeing in the different parts of the castle.
