Martin’s Market Frenštát pod Radhoštěm
Every year in November a traditional market full of stalls with craft products goes into action on the main square in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm in the Beskydy. Since Martin’s Market is organized to celebrate the town’s patron saint, St. Martin regularly comes there on a white horse with a retinue. The climax of the celebrations is a competition for the best St. Martin’s goose. The winner will receive a prize and the city will publish the most successful recipes. Folk music will play throughout the day and you can look forward to plenty of stalls with refreshments and scented mead.
