Hustopeče is one of the most renowned wine-growing centers of South Moravia. Its long tradition includes extensive vineyards, a wine exhibition in the Renaissance building U Synků with its quaint statue of wine yeast in the courtyard, and several events. Among them are the fermented wine festivities in autumn, which have been held on the square in Hustopeče since 1994. There will be a procession through the graceful city, the square will be the scene of a big crafts fair, and you will discover fermented wine retreats in the passageways between the stone buildings.
