During 4 days, MBPFW presents the creations of carefully selected designers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, who will premiere their latest collections for the next season in Prague. It works with a distinct aesthetic, which is inspired by shows in Paris and Milan, and in its choreography aims to link different artistic disciplines. MBPFW, as the only fashion event in the Czech Republic with an international reach - belongs to a global network of fashion weeks organized under the auspices of Mercedes-Benz, similarly as in New York, Berlin, Sydney, Moscow, Istanbul and Mexico City. Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend has gone through a natural evolution during its five-year history. Under the open sky on the "longest catwalk in Central Europe" on Pařížská Street through the white 'fashion tents" came the concept of this year’s " fashion temple "at the Law Faculty of Charles University, whose majestic spaces offer designers a great environment for attractive presentation .The Neoclassical Faculty building designed in 1907 by the famous Czech architect Jan Kotěra, whose other buildings include City Museum in Hradec Králové, The National House in Prostějov and Peterka House in Prague. In 2014, MBPFW for the first time will unveil the collection for spring / summer 2015 a half-year in advance. Two dozen designers passed through a strict curatorial selection this year. The face of Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend 2014 is the Czech supermodel Jana Knauerová.
