Prague Castle is preparing an exhibition Hitched up Beauty: carriages, sleighs and litter trays of the 18th – 20th century dedicated to the historical means of transport from Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. In addition to luxury coaches, various types of sleds and litter trays will be exhibited documenting technological and artistic skills. To conjure up an image of the beauty of the historic team however, the horse harnesses and the servants in livery are also worth noticing. In the Prague Castle Riding Schoolvisitors can also see the presidential car from the early 20th century, the golden chariot of the Olomouc bishops, the gun carriage used in the funeral of Czech presidents and many other exhibits intended for lovers of the old times, technology and art.
