Upwards along the Farina Curve – Czech Hero Ride
There is a story behind each of the events in Czech Hero Ride, primarily a connection between a particular model of the vintage vehicle and personalities of the region or race. One of the most powerful stories recalls the race to the top of the former Grand Prix on the old Masaryk circuit in Brno. The most beautiful spot on the route is the Farina Curve. It is named after Giuseppe Farina, who in 1949 crashed in it during the first Formula 1 race held in Czechoslovakia.
