The generously designed Vysočina Arena winter resort near Nové Město used to be a bastion of classical skiing, but in recent years it has been dominated by biathletes. Following the Biathlon World Championships 2013, cross-country skiers started preparing a big comeback in 2014 and in January you will be able to see them doing some impressive sprints.
