A new rail line connecting the city center to Václav Havel Airport is set to significantly reduce travel time.
Starting in 2030, passengers will be able to reach the airport in just 25 minutes with direct trains running from Masaryk Station every ten minutes. The route will include nine stops, including a section underground and new stations like Praha-Bubny and Výstaviště. The central terminus of the line will be Masaryk Station, which this year began its extensive renovation. This will include a raised platform and green spaces above the tracks themselves.
