Telč

Easily one of the most colorful and beautiful town centers in the Czech Republic, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to beautiful Italian Renaissance architecture, Telč is another prime example of a fairytale storybook village not to miss and perfect for an afternoon stop.
You will find yourself oohing and ahhing at each of the colorful homes lined up in the town center not to mention the beautiful example of a Renaissance castle. The town itself was rebuilt upon multiple times after fires and it wasn’t until the 14th century to where the town was built as it is seen today when Zachariáš of Hradec changed the castle from Gothic to Renaissance and the town followed suit. There is no colorful town center or place that is as picture-perfect as Telc.
Znojmo
Day 4: Telč - Znojmo
Region: Moravia

Moving from one fairytale town after another to the romantic wine region of South Moravia, Znojmo is the perfect blend of both, a romantic small town in the heart of the Czech Republic’s wine region. A small city surrounded by medieval fortifications, filled with churches and cathedrals, winding cobblestone streets, surrounded by vineyards and forest, you can’t imagine or be in a more fantasy-like scenery or setting.
Podyjí National Park
Day 5: Znojmo - Podyjí

Podyji National Park is one of four national parks and a great place to explore for a day and experience some of the Czech Republic’s natural beauty. This beautifully preserved wooded landscape shares a border with Austria where it becomes Thayatal National Park. Because of the Iron Curtain, for years this area was closed off, making it one of the best naturally preserved landscapes in Central Europe with the Dyje River flowing through, vineyards, walking trails, and incredible beauty.
Mikulov
Day 5: Podyjí - Mikulov
Region: Moravia
