The presentation of the Czech Republic, which is being prepared by the CzechTourism’s Scandinavia Office in co-operation with the Czech Embassy in Copenhagen, will be connected with celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Czechoslovakia.
“Thanks to our co-operation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen, we have managed to gain a unique opportunity to present this important anniversary in Denmark. The Czech Republic will not only participate in the trade fair and workshop, but there will also be a printed campaign in the Vagabond magazine, one of the top travel magazines in Denmark,” says Lucie Vallin, a director of the Czech Tourist Authority - CzechTourism, Scandinavia and Finland.
For CzechTourism’s Scandinavia Office, the Quality Travel Event will be this year’s second trade fair in Denmark. At the end of February, the Office also presented the Czech Republic at Ferie for Alle in Herning, which welcomed over 60,000 visitors. As usual, many visitors were interested in camping, activity holiday, golf and family holiday in the regions
Last year, the Czech Republic received over 103,000 visitors from Denmark; the average length of their stay was 3.9 days. Apart from Prague, Danish people also visit the regions, most often the Ústí, Liberec and Hradec Králové regions.
